Both sides of this record, “Doin' the Racoon” and “Me & the Man in the Moon”, were recorded on May 3, 1929, in Paris.
The orchestra included: Grégor (ldr, voc), Philippe Brun (tp, voc), Georges Samuel (tp), Vladimir (tb), René Cézard (tb, ss, vln), Edmond Cohanier (as, cl), Lucia Veintroub (as, vln), Lucien Conti (ts, cl, voc), Lucien Moraweck (p, arr), Mickel Glod (g, bjo), Nicolas Hershoff (tu), Jo Luicas (drm, voc).

Cabaret evening: tribute to Patrick Marie-Joseph “Jenn Kon Vyé”.
 
Author, composer, artistic director, sound engineer, Patrick set up his recording studio and label Solibo Music in 2002 in Chevilly-Larue. He recorded more than 800 albums in the world of Martinique and Caribbean music.
Famous names have performed here: Kassav’, Carimi, La Compagnie Créole, Pipo Gertrude, Tony Chasseur, Dédé Saint-Prix, and others. One year after his death, this concert will be a joyful and rhythmic celebration of Patrick's life and his masterpiece “Jenn Kon Vyé”.
Under the artistic direction of Philippe Joseph (pianist with Kassav'), Alex K-By (guitar), Jean-Christophe Raufaste (bass), Bago (percussion), Allan Savarimoutou (drums) will accompany Dédé Saint-Prix (ambassador of traditional music from Martinique), Emmanuel Réveillé (known as Biloute), MariKlod, Nicolas Pelage, and Marie-Céline Chroné (vocals, backing vocals, and flute). A rich and rhythmic repertoire for an exceptional tribute concert!
